FVS S.p.A. is able to internally realize an increasingly used type of beam, the CELLULAR BEAM:
Honeycomb beams are manufactured starting from the use of hot rolled profiles (for some solutions we can use the honeycomb beam by assembling the beam with suitably perforated sheet metal strips).
A double cut is made in the core of the beam by means of an oxy-cut. The two T-sections thus obtained are re-welded together at the "teeth", thus increasing the total height of the profile.
The structural product thus obtained will have an increased ratio between the moment of inertia and the height of the beam. Given a profile, the diameter and spacing of the openings can vary resulting in an extremely flexible beam geometry and perfect adaptability to project requirements.
They can be made with round, elongated holes or with geometric or softened hexagons.
